Gwendolyn’s passion is to help people live fulfilled lives, and focus on what matters most to them. She knows what time means to busy people and assists in handling life’s business with kind care and efficiency.
With a collection of coaching and life organizing tools Gwendolyn also serves her clients and helps them to redesign or redirect their lives. Gwendolyn’s relevant experience includes raising two children while operating a farm and working for non-profit organizations; coordinating a university research program, and running a consulting and coaching business.
Additionally, Gwendolyn applies her degree in Human Development and training in therapeutic coaching to assist clients in times of emotional transitions, including death of a loved one, divorce, illness, career changes, and big moves, particularly downsizing.
“I appreciate finding creative ways to fit my clients’ lives into smaller spaces by sorting their priorities and clearing away what is weighing them down,” explains Gwendolyn. “I live and work by the following philosophy,” she adds, “When we release things that don’t fit or things that hold difficult memories for us, we make space for the new and inspiring to show up in our lives.”
Gwendolyn also works as an image consultant, she help clients clear their closets of clothes and accessories that no longer serve them and help clients to own their new essence.
In her spare time, Gwendolyn puts her energy into the following causes: compassionate divorce and co-parenting, healthy food access for under-served communities, sustainability and agro-ecology, and work with global communities
Gwendolyn received her BA in Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton College, and her Masters in Human Development from St. Mary’s University, both in Minnesota. Gwendolyn is also a Certified Therapeutic and Somatic Coach and a Certified Trauma Professional working to help people release trauma and challenging emotional responses. She maintains an office in Durham for her healing practice.
